autumn along the ridgeway

we stopped on the ridgeway near oxford recently, the hedgerows were beautiful with leaves changing colour and bright berries hanging heavy on branches.

this is a dog rose gall, there are grubs inside that will develop into wasps...

hawthorn...

apples...

sloe berries...
